# Choices
Cho0/Cho1:These icons control the aspect of the Settings window, where you can turn on and off character substitutions.
Cho2:\Sdisplay the Settings window in a textual form. Graphical form is nicer.
Cho2S:The Settings window is currently displayed in a textual form.
Cho3:\Sdisplay the Settings window in a graphical form. This one is nicer.
Cho3S:The Settings window is currently displayed in a graphical form.
Cho4:\Sshow the state of the next single and double quote in the iconbar icon. This will change as you type quotes.
Cho4S:\Sdisplay the Smart Quotes icon in the iconbar icon. This will not change as you type quotes.
Cho5:\Sremember the quotesæ state (i.e. open or closed) when you turn off substitution by clicking \a on the iconbar icon. Select this option if you expect to want to type a closed quote after you switch quotes back on again.
Cho5S:\Sforget the quotesæ state (i.e. open or closed) when you turn off substitution by clicking \a on the iconbar icon. Deselect this option if you turn off quotes because you typed a smart quote by accident (e.g. when programming).
Cho6S:Click \s if you want the module to remain ù and substitution to continue ù when you quit this program.
Cho6:Click \s if you want the module to quit ù and substitution to stop ù when you quit this program.
